AnonymousIf you’ve never bleached your hair before, or if your hair is very dark, I highly recommend going to a salon. As for me, I use ordinary bleach powder and 20 volume creme developer, which you can both find in any drugstore for pretty cheap. All bleach is very damaging, and I’ve been bleaching the hell out of my hair for a loooong time (pink hair anyone?), so what I do is I saturate the rest of the strands with coconut oil beforehand (you can read more about this here). Also, make sure you try to only cover your roots (virgin hair) with bleach when doing touch ups! Finally, I suggest regularly using a good purple based shampoo and/or conditionner to tone out the yellowness, but don’t leave it in too long or you will get lilac/blue-ish streaks (which I personally don’t mind at all).
